Working on the Edge
“Working on the Edge” is a video tape designed to help instructors present material on the decision making process during emergency situations. The information is based on some of the most recent studies on human factors in decision making and has insightful comments from many veteran company officers and firefighters. The tape also contains several all-risk scenarios to use as group discussion exercises. This video tape is a valuable addition to any course where emergency decision making, risk versus gain and safety are discussed. Some classes that might benefit from this information are: I 300 and 400 series, Command 1A, 1B, 1C, 2A, 2B, 2C, Strike Team Leader, Div/Grp Supervisor, Rescue Systems, Confined Space Rescue, Hazmat Incident Commander, MCI, Terrorism, and Weapons of Mass Destruction.
