Registration for Fall Career Expos Now Open

Registration for the 2017 Southern California Firefighter Career Expos is now open!

Whether you're a student athlete, someone who loves a challenge, or just curious about a career as a firefighter, there's no better first step to an exciting and rewarding career than Cal-JAC's Career Expos. Following a successful round of Northern California Expos that attracted over 700 prospective firefighters, the California Firefighter Joint Apprenticeship Committee (Cal-JAC) is bringing its Firefighter Career Expos to two cities in Southern California this fall.

Perfect for any team-oriented individual with a passion for serving the community, these one-day events offer candidates unrivaled exposure to fire department recruiters, as well as an insider's perspective on what it takes to become a firefighter.

In addition to networking opportunities, candidates who attend will get to try their hand at the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT), get valuable experience with FCTC's mechanical reasoning props, learn how to prepare for the Written Test and get a look at "A Day in the Life of a Firefighter."

These Career Expos will be held at the Firefighter Candidate Testing Centers as follows:
