2018 Career Expo Registration Now Open

Start the New Year off right and take a major step toward your career in the California fire service by attending one of Cal-JAC's 2018 Firefighter Career Expos.

Following a successful round of expos in 2017 that saw attendance from more than 1,500 prospective firefighters, the California Firefighter Joint Apprenticeship Committee (Cal-JAC) will be bringing its Firefighter Career Expos to Livermore and South El Monte in 2018.

Perfect for any team-oriented individual with a passion for serving the community, these one-day events offer candidates unrivaled exposure to fire department recruiters, as well as an insider's perspective on what it takes to become a firefighter.

In addition to networking opportunities, candidates who attend will get to try their hand at the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT), get valuable experience with FCTC's mechanical reasoning props, learn how to prepare for the Written Test and get a look at "A Day in the Life of a Firefighter."
