Chlorine Release and Suspicious Package Scenarios

The CFFJAC continues to forge new ground by developing Web-based TCM training modules, available online to firefighters. These ensure that California firefighters will always have state-of-the-art training at their fingertips.

FireStar Productions filmed a chlorine release scenario at the CPAT Center in Livermore to simulate what would happen if a disgruntled worker released a chemical in a busy commercial building. A suspicious package scenario, filmed at a San Diego fire station, demonstrates the protocol to follow if a suspicious package was delivered to a fire station.

Both scenarios prepare first responders in the event of such emergencies.
