CFFJAC and TCM will be offering “Local Government Special Event Planning and Preparedness,” a 12-hour classroom-based course.

The new CFFJAC Mentoring Program provides departments with a series of tools that can be used to help guide firefighter recruits through the process – especially the early hiring and probationary periods – and set them up for a long career.

The mission of the CFFJAC's Commission to Recruit Women for the Fire Service is to boost interest and to educate high school- and college-aged women, as well as women transitioning from the military, about the firefighting profession.
