CFFJAC

The CPAT Testing Center is an indoor facility and is designed with the firefighter candidate in mind. For a modest registration fee, candidates receive an orientation and a rigorous, professionally run test covering the eight basic skills.

With a total of 130 uniformed personnel, the Ontario Fire Department serves a population of 173,690 and responds to 15,000 calls per year. Its operations include S.W.A.T. team paramedics, technical rescue, a hazardous materials team, a bomb squad and EMS.

The CFFJAC's Commission to Recruit Women in the Fire Service is setting the standard for building a broader, more diverse fire service in California. Through the Commission, CFFJAC sponsors annual Firefighter Recruitment Fairs, held at the CPAT Testing Centers.

Located on the Naval Air Station in Lemoore, the Lemoore Federal Fire Department is employed by the Department of Defense/Navy under the Navy Region Southwest, which encompasses all naval installations in California and Nevada.

CAL FIRE protects over 31 million acres of California's privately-owned wildlands. In addition, CAL FIRE provides varied emergency services in 36 of the State's 58 counties via contracts with local governments.
