Unified Response to Violent Incidents Now Available Online

The Cal-JAC is pleased to announce that Unified Response to Violent Incidents (URVI) is now available in an online format through Target Solutions. This online version of the original course was developed under a grant from Cal OES. URVI Online is available free of charge to all California Fire Departments that utilize Target Solutions with two hours of CE’s available upon completion. Read more....

COVID-19: Cal-JAC Offices Closed Until Further Notice

Due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), our office will experience an interruption in normal business operations. The Cal-JAC will be closed until further notice and staff will be working remotely. COVID-19: FCTC Testing Sites OPEN!

The Firefighter Candidate Testing Center (FCTC) is considered an essential agency and, as such, remains open.  Under strict safety protocols, our sites in Sacramento, Livermore and S. El Monte are open for CPAT testing. Cal-JAC's Firefighter Entry-Level Written Test is being administered and conducted by FCTC at venues throughout the state.
